For some, the rocky road to success is easy to navigate. Take Atlanta rapper Rocko for instance. After working for years writing, producing and developing major label artists, Rocko realized no one was going to take his advice as well as himself. Comment: I am going to purchase this cd today.
A friend let me listen to it and Rocko has his own flow but he sounds similar to Jeezy. Jeezy is the only rapper other than T.I. who gets play on my playlist for entertainment value.
I will admit there are many other rappers who speak on knowledge, current events, etc. They get props. But Rocko has good club and riding music. I listended to my friends copy at work so long she got mad and took it back.
Some people give Rocko 5 stars, others give him 1.
I give him 5 because he actually has the guts to put something out there for public judgement.
And for those of you who think he is wack, if he ends up making a couple of million, obviously someone likes him.
Its called the rap 'business'. How many of you are making as much money as these guys you bash for rapping about 'gangsta' material?

Comment: Dang homie. What happened to lyrics. He sound like Lil' Wayne...not realizing Wayne washed up. All his beats sound the same. If you got Young Jeezy 2005 classic "Trap or Die" mixtape....you listening to the same thing. He got T-Pain on a hook. Dont everybody. What happened to being original. The artist from the South suck.Sad part about it, I'm from the South. What happened to the real Def Jam? Russell, come back!

Comment: THE CD IS REALLY GREAT. LIKE ALL THE SONGS. YOU CAN BUMP THOSE HITS WHEN YOU RIDING IN YOUR WHIP. TIGHT BEATS, AND I really enjoy the album because its mosTLY talking about money and money is all i,m about, and foucing on I listen to it almost everyday. KEEP DOING YOUR THING ROCKO N FORGET ABOUT THESE HATERS.
