For some, the rocky road to success is easy to navigate. Take Atlanta rapper Rocko for instance. After working for years writing, producing and developing major label artists, Rocko realized no one was going to take his advice as well as himself. Proving he knew exactly what the rap game needed, just a year after becoming an artist himself, Rocko secured a deal with Def Jam Records. Thanks to the overwelming popularity of his Drumma Boi single "Umma Do Me," Rocko is now at the forefront of the new Southern movement in hip-hop where business acumen and consumer awareness reign supreme.

Customer Rating: Summary: Good Debut Comment: Rocko isn't somebody new to me despite this being his first album. i've first heard him back in 2003 with his first mixtape release. this album actually isn't that bad and has a lot of potential if the right single's were released. Also there were alot of tracks off the Swag Season mixtape that would've been better options for the album such as Yeen Talkin' Bout Money with Juezl Santana, Still On The Grind with Rick Ross, and Striped with Shawty lo just to name a few.

Customer Rating: Summary: SELF-MADE Comment: ROCKO'S BEST CD EVER. HE IS MY FAVORITE RAPPER HE KILLED IT 4REAL. IF U DON'T HAVE THIS CD THEN GO GET IT KNOW!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: similarities Comment: I am going to purchase this cd today.
A friend let me listen to it and Rocko has his own flow but he sounds similar to Jeezy. Jeezy is the only rapper other than T.I. who gets play on my playlist for entertainment value.
I will admit there are many other rappers who speak on knowledge, current events, etc. They get props. But Rocko has good club and riding music. I listended to my friends copy at work so long she got mad and took it back.
Some people give Rocko 5 stars, others give him 1.
I give him 5 because he actually has the guts to put something out there for public judgement.
And for those of you who think he is wack, if he ends up making a couple of million, obviously someone likes him.
Its called the rap 'business'. How many of you are making as much money as these guys you bash for rapping about 'gangsta' material?
Customer Rating: Summary: Go Rocko - also check out Devin the Dude's latest Comment: if you love this or hate this - check out his homie Devin the Dude Smoke Sessions, Vol. 1- track 3 getting high is something to smoke to - whoah - this is the first album since Rapalot Days and the first album of Devin's to hit the Billboard Charts - Congrats
Customer Rating: Summary: Def Jam signing ANYTHING! Comment: Dang homie. What happened to lyrics. He sound like Lil' Wayne...not realizing Wayne washed up. All his beats sound the same. If you got Young Jeezy 2005 classic "Trap or Die" mixtape....you listening to the same thing. He got T-Pain on a hook. Dont everybody. What happened to being original. The artist from the South suck.Sad part about it, I'm from the South. What happened to the real Def Jam? Russell, come back!
