August Rush tells the story of a charismatic young Irish guitarist (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) and a sheltered young cellist (Keri Russell) who have a chance encounter one magical night above New York's Washington Square, but are soon torn apart, leaving in their wake an infant, August Rush, orphaned by circumstance. Summary: The Soundtrack delivers as much as the Movie
Comment: The soundtrack to the movie devoted to the powers of music is actually quite good. It has a great range from classical to rock, to a funky "not this world" kind of melodies. I recommend this to anyone who saw the movie and thought it was good.
All the vocal singers are professionals and they have done a fantastic job, especially Johnathan Rhys Meyers.
A beautiful soundtrack that will bewitch you into the world of music again and again!

Comment: August Rush: Music From The Motion PictureVery good soundtrack, from one of my all-time favorite romance movies. The songs are all top-notch, some are sung by Jonathan Rhys Meyers (one of the stars - who has a great voice). Very enjoyable.

Comment: Saw the movie and loved the movie but I also noticed the soundtrack and had to have this as well. It is really nice to listen to on long car rides to help relax when the road seems to go on forever.

Comment: For a movie that had absolutely delightful soundtracks we were very disappointed to find that much of the music was elliminated in favor of some songs that were not the least the better part of the movie.
