RyanDan isn't simply a play on the names of identical twins Ryan and Dan. It reflects an indivisible bond that runs so deeply that there is no discernible line where vocally one ends and the other begins. Canadian twins Ryan and Dan have astonishing voices that move from baritone to soprano and full voice to falsetto with ease and can write heart-wrenching lyrics and music. Ryan and Dan's love of opera was spawned by the music of their childhood - the songs of Mario Lanza and Luciano Pavarotti. Guided by their opera singing father, Ryan and Dan spent many evenings watching his performances from the side of the stage - an experience which benefited the boys enormously as the feeling and emotion with which they sing is evident throughout the whole album.
