Summary: easy? yeah right.
Comment: there are several things wrong with this Pancake Puff maker:
1. the sticks are useless for turning over the puffs.
2. they get stuck pretty badly, even when coating the man with mounds of butter.
3. the pan gets WAY too hot. i had it on a medium low heat and they were turning charcoal black. even after turning the burner completely off for about 20 minutes and starting a new batch, they were STILL burning.
4. the handle heats up as much as the pan does.
5. its pretty tricky pouring batter into the wells without making a huge mess all over the pan.

Comment: My 2 and 4 year olds love eating these. I've been creative with the recipes, and have gotten my toddlers to eat things they usually wouldn't because of the fun "package" the food comes in. It took me a couple of times to figure out the stove setting and how to efficiently flip them. Once I got it, it's a quick and easy process. It has a great non-stick surface and is very easy to clean.

Comment: This item works well with plain pancakes. However, the pan is much smaller than it looks on tv or in the ad. The puffs come out very small and it takes a very long time to cook them as you must keep the heat low with cast iron. I tried the brownie puff recipe that is included in the kit and they did not come out at all. The puffs are also very difficult to turn in the pan to cook the other side. They are fun and yummy once they are done, but somewhat difficult to make.
