Comment: I was very irritated at how much they charged me for shipping and handling and I told the compny so. THen I was impressed when they got back to me and gave me some discounts on my next purchase. Then I was outraged when I read the fine print and learned that I had to buy more than TWO products in order to use the discounts!!! THen when I let them know that...now I still have not heard back from them!! I think that is extremely poor business and am not recommending them to anyone OR shopping with them EVER again!!

Comment: Rarely does a product entice me enough in order to write a review for it. I have been using Acqua di Gio for the past 4-5 years, if not longer. As it stands right now, I will not wear another fragrance unless Mr. Armani should stop selling it. However, it seems that AdG is one of the top-selling fragrances, so that should not be a problem for quite a while.
I cannot and will not comment with the "woodsy" "dainty" "curry" or whatever descriptive words other reviewers have used to quantify this particular smell. Until the Internet implements "Smell-o-Vision" I don't think it's anybody's business to even attempt to quantify it with those words - you won't smell like the woods (thankfully), nor dainty, nor like curry (thankfully x 2). My advice is to go to the store and try it for yourself.
A lot of the users say "go buy this for your husband" or something along those lines. This is not the case - this fragrance is not for all people, nor is any other fragrance universally pleasant-smelling. People have their own distinct odors, and the fragrance that they use will complement their odor either in a positive or negative fashion. I personally smell horribly when I use muskier cologne such as Davidoff. I smell "eh" or just "ok" if I use Polo Sport - it doesn't really complement my natural smell very nicely... However, with AdG it's another story. This is the one and only fragrance that I've worn and received complements and/or inquiries as to the brand of fragrance. For me it works magically. I certainly hope it works just as nicely for you, but you'll have to experiment to find out.
So that is why I'm keeping it around, and why I'm writing this review. This fragrance is perfect for me. I've tried dozens of other fragrances throughout the years, yet nothing has smelled as good on me. By the way, when you try it out, don't spray it on the little paper tabs they have at stores. Spray it on your wrist (a light, gentle spray) and then rub it in. However, do not smell it just quite yet - let it air out for 10 minutes (go to the socks section or something like that so you get out of the strong-smelling section of the store [fragrance section]). Then take a whiff. Spraying the fragrance on a paper tab will only partially indicate how the fragrance truly smells when sprayed on yourself...
