Thalia ("Marimar", "Maria Mercedes", "Maria la del Barrio") stars as Rosalinda, a decent, beautiful young woman who works in a flower shop to pay for her education while aspiring to become a great singer. One day, while delivering flowers to a restaurant, she meets Fernando Jose Altamirano, a pianist and composer. Rosalinda instantly falls in love with Fernando Jose and tells him of her dream of becoming a singer. Though they are soon wed, circumstances force them apart. Maybe it’s because Rosalinda discovers that her birth mother, long believed to be dead is actually serving a prison sentence—for the murder of Francisco Jose’s father! The film also stars Fernando Carrillo ("Maria Isabel", "Primavera"), Angelica Maria ("La Antorcha Encendida"), Manuel Saval ("¡Vivan los ninos!") and Lupita Ferrer ("Soledad").

Customer Rating: Summary: DON'T BUY IT - IT'S NOT A COMPLETE EDITION Comment: This DVD does NOT contain the whole series. They chopped it down so that it makes no sense and the sound quality is very poor.
Customer Rating: Summary: disappointed Comment: This was not what I expected, I started watching this series on tv and decided to order it and much to my disappointed the series was so shopped up that the story line was totally lost. I will never buy another series again.
Customer Rating: Summary: Rosalinda Comment: Rosalinda Wow! We had watched Marimar, so we thought we would give Rosalinda a try. We love it! Although you can tell in some places parts of it are deleted to shorten it for home dvd, it still flows together nicely and it's easy to understand what has been skipped. Great video, good subtitling easy to follow and very dramatic.
Customer Rating: Summary: Thalia as Rosalinda Comment: I am watching it on TV, yes it's airing again. It no doubt is a classic. I really had problems trying to think of Thalia as an actress. I really tried to like her in the maria series but she was young and her acting was, well below par (I'm really trying to be nice!) I love her as a singer and in Rosalinda I could really start to see her grow as an actress.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Telenovela Comment: I loved this telenovela. The English subtitles were immaculate. I didnt catch but maybe 2 words mispelled. The storyline was juicy and full of drama. From beginning to end i was enthralled with this telenovela. Great one and I recommend it for all that like telenovelas.
