Customer Rating: Summary: A great floor puzzle Comment: This was our first floor puzzle - my daughter starting playing with it at about age 2.5 It's very appealing with the familiar farm animals, and it's fun to recreate the outline of the barn instead of a rectangular puzzle. The pieces are thick and durable. It has held my daughter's interest for many weeks; we have been known to take it apart and redo it several times in one day, and now she can do it largely on her own.
Customer Rating: Summary: M&D floor puzzles are great Comment: These puzzles are almost impervious to my 3 and 1 year olds mistreatment of them by walking on and chewing on the pieces. My three year old can do this by himself with only a little frustration at the oddly joining shapes due to it not being a normal rectangle. But we put this and all of his other M&D puzzles together at least every other day.
Customer Rating: Summary: The hit of the party and beyond Comment: Picture yourself at a 2 year old's Birthday party with a tractor to play with, pony rides, petting zoo (at the farm), pinata, tons of activities, and this puzzle was the hit of the party. It is what all the kids wanted to do, and what they talked about most afterwards. Can't make up reviews like this one!
Customer Rating: Summary: The Large Barnyard Floor Puzzle Comment: The large floor puzzles by Melissa and Doug are great for little kids anywhere from the ages of 3-6 years of age provided you keep with the concept of buying these attractive large floor puzzles that have less than 50 pieces...ideally 30 to 40 pieces would be an excellent puzzle, toy, and learning experience for young children. A little older children, or children very familiar with puzzles, may be interested in the larger floor puzzles that have close to 100 pieces. But little boys certainly love the large fire truck, the barnyard/farm puzzle, and the Underwater scene. Would highly recommend but let the children figure it out and not the parents.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great challenging puzzle Comment: My brother absolutely loves this puzzle! It is challenging for him, but he can figure it out it is great for fine motor development! Great puzzle I will be getting more of these!
